2nd of my Kaoru paintings. I actually had no idea what to do with this when I started and then all of a sudden it started coming together. The tats are MESSY, mostly because I could barely find reference for his upper left arm so they're all f'ed up. I love how the water and the shirt and the background and all that came out. Actually, the only thing that bothers me is the top of his head. I could not get his hair to sit right since the water was weighing it down on one side, but oh well. I like it anyway.
I decided I'm going to do a series of these with each member of the band. I already have Kyo's pose in mind. mmmm As with the mate of this, both are being sold in my journal if you'd like a BIG unwatermarked copy. ^^ |
